Motorcycles exhaust systems
Mivv has extensive experience in the development and manufacturing of original exhaust systems for two and four stroke engines. This means that in developing these systems we can optimise both compression and noise levels. Special attention is given to aesthetic and weight requirements.
The complete systems are developed implementing technical solutions like:
- compensation tubes to ensure the best efficiency of the exhaust gas flow from the cylinders;
- discharge valve for the optimisation of noise performance;
- the use of hydro formed tubes to optimise flow dynamics.
Mivv develops and produces catalytic mufflers of different kinds (absorption and/or reflection types) using light weight raw materials, including titanium. Our experience means that we can offer a wide range of surface finishes, like glossy, satin, chrome, and sand blasted.
Mivv develops and produces these components using the best bending technology, resulting in very tight bending radiuses (equal or less than the ID), on low thicknesses (less than 1 mm), implementing design solutions like air gap or hydro formed tubes. Our experience means that we can offer a wide range of surface finishes, like glossy, satin, chrome, and sand blasted.
The proved experience of MIVV in the use of advanced technologies for the processing of light-weight materials (both stainless steel and titanium) means that we can design and produce motorcycle exhaust systems with maximized performance and lightness.
